Ultrapolymers is at the forefront of recycled polymer distribution. As part of the Ravago group, one of the largest manufacturers of recycled polymers in Europe, our interest in recycling is inherent to our business. Our extensive range of reprocessed materials includes Mafill® PP, Ravalene® PE, Sicostrolo® PS, Sicoflex® ABS, Sicoklar® PC, Mablex® PC/ABS, Ravamid® PA (6 & 66) and Econyl® PA (6& 66), as well as offering a selection of bio-polymers and innovative scented polymers. Due to shortages in the world’s raw materials and the importance of reducing our carbon footprint, we see the benefit and necessity of extending our involvement in regenerated polymers and the importance of developing new technologies for polymer recycling.

Ultrapolymers became distribution partner for Aquafil in 2010, offering a wide range of filled and unfilled post-industrial and post-consumer polyamides. Aquafil has revolutionised the Nylon market by developing the first ‘UL Environment’ approved post-consumer waste polyamide, Econyl TS, to offer the same properties as that of a prime polyamide. We believe that developments like this will add to the growing confidence in using reprocessed materials in plastics applications.

Ultrapolymers has access to compounding services in the UK and Ireland, providing custom compounds with specific additives, colours and formulations for all types of polymer. We also have the ability to produce specific compounds from our top suppliers under Trade Mark License. Furthermore, we can help our customers in the rotomoulding business by custom colouring and grinding of polyolefins.

Aquafil’s patented XB technology has added innovation to our services by providing a unique alternative to full colour compounding. Providing polyamide in a ‘Salt n Pepper’ mix exerts less stress on the polymer, a higher compound quality, better colour consistency, guaranteed homogeneity, cost benefits and shorter response times on filled or unfilled compounds.

Ultrapolymers offers a comprehensive range of polymers specifically manufactured for the engineering and automotive industry. Our strong engineering portfolio boasts materials from: BASF, Ascend and Aquafil. We also distribute Advance Polyolefins from Lyondellbasell, TPE from Enplast, TPU from Mequinsa, Acetyl from Asahi Kasei and specialised engineering compounds from Lehman and Voss.

We have exclusive distribution of LyondellBasell’s Advanced Polyolefin range in the UK, which puts us at the forefront of polymer supply to the engineering and automotive sector. This specialised range of filled and unfilled PE and PP grades offers solutions for materials that are specified by these industries.
